End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Acceptance

By creating a PingMe account you agree to this End User License Agreement and to our zero-tolerance policy on objectionable content and abusive behavior, set out below.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior

PingMe does not tolerate content or behavior that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative of minors, or otherwise abusive. This applies to every message, image, and profile on the platform. Violating this policy can result in your content being removed and your account being suspended or terminated.

3. Reporting and blocking

Every message and every user can be reported from within the app. Reports are reviewed and actioned — including content removal and account suspension — within 24 hours. You can also block any user at any time; blocking removes that person from your conversation list and hides their messages immediately, on your device.

4. How PingMe works

PingMe end-to-end encrypts the true content of your messages on your device before it ever reaches our servers — we cannot read it, and there is no way for us to recover it if you lose your PIN. "Cover text" is visible to our systems the way any ordinary message would be; do not put anything you need to keep private in cover text.

5. Contacts

If you grant contacts access, PingMe sends only the phone numbers from your address book to our server, to tell you which of your contacts already use PingMe. We do not upload names, photos, or any other contact fields, and we do not use this data for anything besides that match.

6. Subscriptions

PingMe Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's account settings.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this Agreement or applicable law. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

8. No warranty

PingMe is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of your data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement.
